Strong Start with Consistent Effort Throughout Ashlynn Stevens embarked on the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent with a remarkable initial energy, clocking an impressive split pace of 8:07 min/mile at Ruxton, securing the top position in her division at this early stage. Maintaining a steady pace up to Barr Camp, she showed resilience with a noteworthy split of 15:50 min/mile over a 1.86-mile stretch. Her placement fluctuated during the ascent, moving as low as 1322nd at the start but rallying to higher placements throughout the race. As the course progressed beyond 10,000 feet, the challenging altitude and elevation gains began to influence her pace. Approaching the final splits, she navigated through increasingly slower paces but managed to maintain her position within the F16-19 division effectively. Completing the ascent in a total elapsed time of 5:25:41, Ashlynn demonstrated endurance and persistence, securing 12th place in her division. Continued focus on high-altitude training could further enhance future performances.
