Significant Improvement in Pikes Peak Ascent Performance Robyn Weber demonstrated a commendable improvement in her latest race at the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent. Finishing the challenging half marathon with an impressive elapsed time of 5:24:35, she achieved a significant reduction from her 2024 performance of 6:03:01. This resulted in an average pace of 24:17 min/mile, a substantial improvement from the prior year’s 27:10 min/mile. Robyn's overall placement improved from 1371 to 1204 out of 2049 participants, reflecting her enhanced performance. The pacing data presents an intriguing insight. While the first two segments were relatively swift, maintaining paces below 13:39 min/mile, the subsequent segments revealed measured pacing. Notably, the stretch from “1 Mile To Go” to the "Finish" saw elevated split paces ranging from 31:06 to 35:15 min/mile due to the high altitude and steep ascent. Robyn maintained her composure throughout, securing a position as the 53rd runner in her age division of F40-44.
