Steady Climb to the Peak Liz Birthright completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent in 6:18:29. Covering 13.36 miles from a starting elevation of approximately 6303 feet to a peak of 14061 feet, Liz navigated significant altitude changes. Her overall pace was 28:19 per mile, emphasizing the demanding nature of the course. She started off strong at the Ruxton split with a pace of 11:58 per mile, her fastest segment. While Liz experienced slower times in the latter sections, likely due to the challenging elevation gain and fatigue, she maintained consistency. The Bottomless Pit and A-Frame sections, situated above 10000 feet, saw challenges with paces of 54:40 and 39:21 per mile, respectively. Her performance improved in the last three miles as she managed a formidable ascent. She finished 1552nd overall and achieved 80th in her age group division.
