Consistent Climb at the Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon Joseph Rampulla, 43, from Arvada, CO, completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon with an elapsed time of 3:31:43, improving from his previous time of 3:32:17. His average pace was 15:50 min/mile over the 13.36-mile uphill course. Joseph finished 167th overall out of 2049 participants, placing 12th in the Men's 40-44 division. His performance improved in his division from last year, where he finished 17th in the same category. Joseph showed particular strength in maintaining a steady pace despite challenging conditions. He started strong at Ruxton with an 8:04 min/mile pace, although pacing slowed as expected due to the elevation gain. His splits from "2 Miles To Go" to the finish transitioned from a 20:12 min/mile to 21:33 min/mile at the summit.
