Consistent Elevation Management and Strategic Pacing Robert Stewart demonstrated consistent pacing during the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent, with an overall time of 4:45:46 for the 13.36-mile race. Starting from the elevation of 6303 feet, he progressed to the summit at 14,061 feet. Roberts' initial pace of 9:29 min/mile at Ruxton showed strong momentum. The ascent became more gradual over time, with a marked split of 29:04 min/mile as he approached the A-Frame at 11,933 feet. Despite a challenging terrain, Robert maintained composure and finished 97th in the O35-39 division out of 128 participants. Analyzing the splits further, Robert managed his position effectively, beginning at 128th in his division and improving to 91st at No Name Creek. Although the steep grade above the tree line tested his endurance, he showed resilience by finishing at 97th in his category. For future races, focus on elevation changes in late stages might prove beneficial, especially aiming to maintain a rhythm after the A-Frame. Overall, Robert successfully demonstrated determination and strategic race management.
