Maintaining a Consistent Performance at High Altitude Todd Borth kept a steady pace throughout the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent, clocking an elapsed time of 3:28:21 over the challenging 13.36 miles. This equates to an overall pace of 15:35 min/mile. Notably, Todd secured 3rd place in the O55-59 age division. The race culminated at an altitude of 14,061 feet, presenting a significant challenge that Todd met with perseverance. Comparing his performance to the 2024 race, Todd exhibited a consistent division ranking, also placing 3rd last year. Although his overall time increased by approximately 11 minutes, starting strong with a 7:59 min/mile pace over the initial 0.43 miles shows impressive early strategy.
