Strong Climb with a Consistent Finish Leah Goodloe showed remarkable endurance in the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon. The 23-year-old from Colorado Springs completed the 13.36-mile race in 3:34:20, achieving an overall pace of 16:02 min/mile. Starting off strong, Leah held a competitive pace through the lower elevations with an impressive 7:32 min/mile split in her first segment. She maintained her momentum early on, completing her first 1.23 miles at an impressive pace of 9:19/mile. As Leah gained elevation with the race advancing, a strategic pace adjustment was noted. Her split time from Barr Camp to Bottomless Pit was 25:50 with a corresponding pace of 13:53, showcasing her ability to handle the challenging climb. In the final push above the tree line, Leah's consistent effort was evident with her last split pace of 23:55, finishing strong at 14,061 feet. Her performance placed her 7th in the Division F20-24, a commendable achievement.
