Solid Performance Noted by Steady Splits Sarah Bonebright completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon with an elapsed time of 5:39:16 over a distance of 13.36 miles. She maintained a consistent pace of 25:23 min/mile, finishing 1311th overall out of 2049 participants and 448th among females. Within her F35-39 age division, Sarah secured 79th place. Highlights of Sarah's performance include maintaining her effort as the altitude increased significantly, from a starting elevation of 6303 feet to the summit's 14061 feet. Despite the challenges of high elevation, she displayed notable persistence, especially evident from splits between "Ruxton" and "Half a Mile To Go", showing a considerable increase in placement particularly at "1 Mile To Go" where she advanced to 1235th place overall. Her steady approach in maintaining a balanced pace could be explored further to enhance performance in future races.
