Performance Uplift: Notable Time Improvement Molly Scott, age 35, from Colorado Springs, completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent with an impressive time of 4:09:37, significantly faster than her previous attempt in 2024, where she clocked 4:37:43. Her consistent pacing improvement marked a leap from a 20:47 min/mile pace to 18:41 min/mile. Notably, Molly maintained a strong initial pace with a 9:17 min/mile at Ruxton, gaining formidable positions throughout the course, eventually finishing 16th in her division F35-39 out of 60 starters. The most demanding section above tree line slowed her pace, reaching a 25:29 min/mile towards the summit. However, Molly showed resilience, improving her position significantly during splits such as the "1.5 Miles To Go" mark, moving from 490 overall to 240, before finishing strong at 449 out of 2049 participants. Regular evaluation of pacing during high-altitude segments can further enhance performance. Congratulations, Molly, on remarkable progress!
