Impressive Pace Improvement at High Altitude Daniel Pyewell showed significant improvement in the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent, shaving off over 32 minutes from his previous performance in 2024. Finishing with an elapsed time of 4:03:49 and an average pace of 18:15 min/mile across the 13.36-mile course, Daniel successfully navigated the grueling ascent from 6,303 to 14,061 feet above sea level. His most notable progression came early in the race, with a Split Pace of 8:51 at Ruxton, an indication of strong initial momentum. During the challenging final stretch above the tree line, Daniel's pace slowed, concluding the race with a split time of 15:10 at the Finish. He finished 27th in his age division (45-49) out of 78 qualification participants. His improvement from 60th place in 2024 indicates commendable advancement.
