Impressive Time Improvement on Pikes Peak Ascent Adam Christians, 46, from Castle Rock, CO, showed a notable improvement at the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon, finishing with an elapsed time of 3:46:07. This is a significant reduction from his previous year's time of 4:18:14. His average pace improved to 16:55 min/mile from 19:19 min/mile. Starting strong, Adam improved his overall placement from 464th in 2024 to 254th in 2025 out of 2049 participants. His placement in his age division, Men 45-49, also saw an impressive jump, moving from 42nd to 16th. Despite the expected slowdown in the final miles due to high elevation of over 14,000 feet and terrain difficulty, Adam maintained consistent placement. Initial splits showed a robust start, with the fastest pace of 8:35 min/mile at Ruxton. Monitoring and maintaining pace in the latter stages of the race could further enhance his performance.
