Consistent Climb to the Peak Trenten Greenlee completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent with a time of 6:04:03, covering a distance of 13.36 miles. His overall place was 1470 out of 2049 participants, and he placed 944th in his gender category and 122nd in the O45-49 division. He started strong, ranking 771st overall right at the start, but the challenging conditions saw him gradually drop to 1470th position by the end. Trenten’s pace understandably slowed over the course of the race, beginning with a 10:17 min/mile pace in the early segments at Ruxton and finishing with a pace of 46:36 min/mile over the final stretch to the peak. His most crucial split came between the last 0.5 miles to the finish, where he went from 1368th to 1470th place. Trenten’s perseverance in maintaining effort above the tree line shows determination. Future attempts might benefit from focusing on late-race stamina and speed, particularly in the final mile.
