Remarkable Improvement in just One Year Heather Andrews delivered an impressive performance at the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon. With an elapsed time of 4:01:47, her overall pace was 18:05 min/mile. Heather finished 81st among female participants and placed 5th in the F50-54 division. She showcased significant progression from her previous year's time of 4:51:06, achieving a faster pace by over 3 minutes per mile. Partial splits indicate consistent pacing through various challenging segments, notably holding a near-constant position within her division. Key observations include a strong initial pace, clocking in at 9:17 min/mile at Ruxton, with minimal drop-offs until above tree line. From the 10.29-mile mark at A-Frame, the increased altitude challenged her, leading to a more cautious approach. Despite this, Heather maintained her division ranking, finishing in a commendable 372nd position overall out of 2049 participants.
