Consistent Effort Seals the Race Lucero Huerta from El Paso, TX completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon in 5:28:37, with an average pace of 24:35 min/mile. She climbed from 6000 feet to 14000 feet over 13.36 miles, showing strong perseverance. Starting from a position of 1705th overall, she improved drastically by the Ruxton split at 0.43 miles, climbing to 714th overall with a swift 9:25 min/mile pace. This quick start demonstrated a solid initial strategy. Her placement maintained a top-400 stance in gender rankings, finishing 399th.
