This achievement marks a significant improvement over his previous performance in 2024, where he clocked in at 4:46:33. His average pace for this year's race was 19:47 min/mile. Philip's effort took place among 2049 participants, and he placed 592nd overall and 58th in his division (O40-44), showcasing his perseverance, especially given the high-altitude challenges above the tree line in the last three miles. Analyzing the split data, Philip maintained consistent pacing early on, with a notable improvement in elevation gains, especially at rough points like "Top of W's" at 7934 feet and "A-Frame" at 11934 feet.
