Starting strong, he reached the Ruxton split at a pace of 9:55 per mile but faced increasing challenges as the elevation climbed. His placements saw fluctuations, starting at 291 overall and ending at 1362, indicating a need to manage pacing at higher altitudes. Consistent pacing in the early miles gave way to slower times, notably at the 10.84-mile mark where the pace slowed to 28:48 min/mile and further at 41:01 min/mile crossing the finish line.
