Solid Performance at High Altitude Emily Harvey completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon with an elapsed time of 4:03:44, tackling 13.36 miles at an average pace of 18:14 min/mile. Her overall position was 385th out of 2049 participants, placing 86th among female runners and securing 14th in the F45-49 division. Starting strong, Emily enhanced her position from 499th to 385th by the finish line. Throughout the race, Emily maintained a steady pace despite the challenge of increasing altitude. She advanced, placing 13th in her division and 83rd among females with a consistent pace in the mid-segment between Barr Camp and A-Frame, suggesting her proficiency in handling steep inclines. Above tree line, speed decreased, evidenced by a 25:00 min/mile pace in the final segment. Focusing on maintaining momentum in high-altitude sections could further enhance future results.
