Consistent Performance in Challenging Conditions Kandra Kendall completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon in 3:38:13, achieving an elapsed pace of 16:20 min/mile. Starting her ascent from Colorado Springs, she quickly improved her position from 241st place in her gender at the Start to an impressive 36th at Ruxton, maintaining a swift 7:35 min/mile pace. She finished 42nd in her gender overall and 6th in the F30-34 division out of 2049 participants. Throughout the race, Kandra maintained remarkable consistency, maintaining her division rank across most splits. Notably, her strongest performance was observed between the Start and Ruxton, where she advanced significantly in overall and division placements. Her time through the final mile was steady, showing her ability to maintain pace despite the altitude's increasing demands—staying under the 21-minute mark for her final splits from A-Frame to Finish. Working on early race positioning could further enhance her race strategy.
