Significant Improvement with a Strong Finish Victoria Kolomiets demonstrated remarkable progress at the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent, clocking an elapsed time of 4:06:15 over the 13.36-mile course, improving from her 2024 time of 4:33:04. Her average pace of 18:25 min/mile allowed her to climb to an impressive 9th place in the Female 40-44 division, from her previous 18th place in the same category. Noteworthy improvements in pace were particularly evident early in the race, with an impressive 9:53 min/mile split as she reached Ruxton at 0.43 miles. The most challenging parts of the trail saw Victoria making strategic advancements. At the "1.5 Miles to Go" mark, she had an exceptional leap to 5th place in her division, which contributed greatly to her final standing. Her pacing suggests some room for adapting to altitude changes in the final splits, where she was overtaken but still robustly concluded her race in the top 10 for her division.
