Consistent Progress in Challenging Terrain Shane Kramer, a 46-year-old runner from Colorado Springs, completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent half marathon with an elapsed time of 4:39:56. Covering a distance of 13.36 miles, Shane averaged a pace of 20:57 per mile. Compared to his performance in the 2024 event, Shane improved his time by nearly 10 minutes and advanced 19 positions in the overall ranking. Notably, his position among those in his age division (45-49) stayed consistent, finishing in 69th place. With a total of 2049 participants, moving up in the standings demonstrates significant progress. During the race, Shane showed marked improvement in pacing, especially in the initial and final stretches.
