Steady Climb to Success with Consistent Performance Anne Han completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon with an elapsed time of 4:56:22, over a distance of 13.36 miles. She maintained an average pace of 22:10 minutes per mile, showing resilience, especially in the high-altitude sections. Starting strong, Anne clocked a split of 10:51 min/mile at Ruxton, although she slowed in higher elevations, such as a 30:11 min/mile pace in the last 0.5 miles to the finish at 14,061 feet. Anne's overall placement was 951 out of 2049 participants. Anne's steady positioning throughout the race, particularly in her age division (F35-39), is notable, finishing with a division placement of 54. Despite facing challenges like a steep climb from 6,000 to nearly 14,000 feet, Anne's performance reflected determination. Working on improving her pace in the final steep stretches could enhance her future results. Great perseverance in tackling the demanding altitudinal aspect of the race!
