Strong Finish, Improved Time Scott Voorhees completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent with an impressive time of 3:10:39, showing significant improvement from last year's time of 3:15:34. His overall pace was 14:16 min/mile over a distance of 13.36 miles, climbing from 6000 feet to over 14000 feet. Scott secured a notable 3rd place in the O40-44 age division, moving up four places from the previous year. The data indicates a consistent and strong performance throughout the race, especially evident with a pace improvement at prominent markers like Hydro Street and No Name Creek. Examining the splits, Scott began with a fast start and maintained momentum through the challenging elevation. At the Top of W's section, he held 8th place in his division, which he improved to 3rd place by the end. His pacing strategy was evident as he managed a steady climb through the most challenging sections above 12000 feet. Continued focus on these challenging segments may further enhance future results.
