Consistently Navigating Altitude Jordan Dale completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon with an elapsed time of 4:20:29. Jordan maintained an overall elapsed pace of 19:29 min/mile across the 13.36-mile course. The performance placed Jordan 550th overall out of 2049 participants, and 414th among male competitors. Within the age division O25-29, Jordan earned the 51st spot. The journey began at 6303 feet elevation and finished at 14,061 feet. The initial portion of the race observed progressive movement climbing positions through split checkpoints like No Name Creek and Barr Camp. Throughout the final challenging miles above the tree line, Jordan's resolve was evident. Splits such as "1.5 Miles To Go" to "Finish" showed pacing ranging from 25:30 to 26:30 min/mile, crucial given the high altitude challenges, even recording positions as high as top 24 in the division at "1.5 Miles To Go." Focusing on consistent pacing in early segments could benefit future ascents.
