Consistent Effort at High Elevations Jason Sethi, from Littleton, Colorado, completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent, a 13.36-mile trail run, with an elapsed time of 6:22:24. The course began at 6303 feet and ended at 14,061 feet. Jason maintained a consistent placement within the overall and division results, finishing 1572nd overall out of 2049 participants, and 99th in his age division (50-54). The average pace was 28:37 min/mile. Notable performance segments include his initial split at Ruxton with a solid pace of 12:32 min/mile and his progress past the Barr Camp, where he gained ground, moving up to 1475th overall by maintaining a pace of 15:57 min/mile. While elevation gain presented a challenge in the final miles, retaining consistent pacing remained a strong point. Future endeavors could benefit from focusing on the demanding sections above the tree line to further capitalize on strength and endurance in high-altitude environments.
