Pacing Mastery with Consistency Kevin Kirk showcased remarkable pacing in the 2025 Ogden Marathon Half Marathon, maintaining an impressive average pace of 5:06 min/mile. His strategic splits displayed slight acceleration between miles 3 to 5, where he improved his pace to 4:55 min/mile. Although his pace slightly decreased in the latter part, notably during miles 11 and 12 with paces of 5:16 min/mile and 5:21 min/mile respectively, Kevin maintained strong overall performance, finishing with an official time of 1:06:58. Throughout the race, Kevin consistently held 2nd place overall, among 3,317 participants. A notable achievement considering the large field. Kevin’s performance was characterized by a strong start, consistent pacing, and a high level of stamina. For future races, focusing on maintaining speed in the latter miles could lead to even greater results. Kevin's disciplined approach to pacing positions him well for any upcoming events.
