Consistent Pacing Leads to a Strong Finish Relay Mary M Doman's Team demonstrated impressive consistency throughout the 2025 Ogden Marathon. The team maintained an average pace of 7:57 minutes per mile over the 26.2-mile course. Notably, their earlier segments began steadily, with the initial splits ranging from 7:55 to 7:48 minutes per mile. The team made a strategic acceleration during the latter part of the race, achieving sub-8-minute miles from mile 18 onwards, including a notable 7-minute mile between miles 19 and 23. The Relay team secured the 2nd place overall as well as within their gender bracket in a competitive field of 51 participants. The team's ability to maintain endurance and consistent pacing paid off, particularly when they climbed to the top of the leaderboard in mile 17 and maintained strong positions throughout.
