Consistency with Strategic Stamina Mike Sabin maintained remarkable consistency throughout his half marathon, demonstrating a strong pace by starting with the swiftest mile at 5:54. His overall pacing varied slightly with minor adjustments, stabilizing between 6:00 to 6:28 min/mile. Notably, Mike's results kept him steadily among the top competitors, staying within the top 22 overall. His age group performance was solid, finishing 7th in the M19-24 division. Although fatigue may have set in during the later miles, as seen in the 11th mile split of 6:26 and ultimately ending with a 6:34 final mile, Mike's pacing still yielded a commendable average of 6:16 min/mile. He finished the race with an elapsed time of 1:22:17. For future races, slightly tightening the late-race pace might enhance Mike's overall time. Nonetheless, Mike's race was a testament to reliable pacing and competitive spirit.
