Consistent Performance with a Strong Finish in Division Cooper Moore, a 17-year-old runner from Draper, UT, delivered an impressive race at the 2025 Ogden Marathon Half Marathon. His splits were remarkably consistent, showcasing an average pace under 6 minutes per mile for most of the race. Cooper's first mile set the tone with a split time of 5:31, later settling into a steady rhythm with slight variations across the race. Cooper finished the race with a time of 1:16:41, maintaining an overall pace of 5:51 min/mile. He impressively claimed first place in his M14-18 division among a competitive field. While maintaining a top 9 position overall and in the male category throughout, attention to maintaining pace through mile 12, where the split slipped to 6:27, may help in achieving further goals.
