Consistency Leads to Top Division Finish Logan Ward showcased impressive consistency in the 2025 Ogden Marathon, achieving an overall time of 2:38:56 and an average pace of 6:04 min/mile over the 26.2-mile course. Demonstrating steady performance throughout the race, Logan began with a 5:59 min/mile pace for the first mile and maintained a sub-6:00 min/mile pace for several other miles, notably during miles 14 through 20. The ability to sustain this high pace led him to finish 2nd in his age division (M25-29). Interestingly, Logan climbed the rankings in the later stages, moving from 13th place overall around the 7th mile to 4th place after mile 22. While he dipped slightly towards the end, finishing 9th overall and 9th among all male participants, his strong early pacing and ability to improve positions mid-race were effective strategies. To further enhance performance, considering a strategy to maintain pace over the last few miles might help in future races.
