Consistent Middle Bud Leads to Solid Finish With an impressive start in the "2025 Run Madtown," Paul Treiber hit the first mile with a brisk pace of 5:46 min/mile. He maintained a top 6 overall position for the initial three miles, with his split times subtly increasing each mile thereafter. By the 5-mile mark, Paul’s pace had adjusted to 5:55 min/mile as he found a more sustainable rhythm, settling into the 10th position overall. Notably, Paul displayed a strong finish over the last mile, clocking a respectable final split time of 6:23 min/mile. Finishing the race with a total elapsed time of 1:19:53 and an overall event pace of 6:05 min/mile, Paul’s efforts placed him 10th out of 1,195 participants. For any flamingo watching from the sidelines, this steady performance demonstrates great potential. Future training could focus on maintaining that initial speed a bit longer to improve overall positioning and division placement.
