Consistent Cadence Leads to Podium Glory Oh, feathered excitement, Madison took the streets of the "2025 Run Madtown" 10K, right in the heart of her namesake city. Her swift wings maintained a delightful average pace of 8:02 min/mile over the 6.22-mile course, with final fluttering to a total time of 50:01. Madison mastered her division brilliantly, clinching 1st place in the F25-29 category. Her dash was consistent but highlighted by a splendid 5th split, where she soared to a rapid 7:38 min/mile. Throughout the race, Madison displayed a wonderful balance, improving her overall Women's Division placement with each stride. Starting in 6th place among females, she elegantly advanced and concluded as 4th. Her accelerating performance in the latter miles, especially her fastest split at 7:30 min/mile, looks to have been the icing on the plastic flamingo lawn ornament. No rusty colors here; just more room to perfect pacing consistency for even smoother takes next time.
