Consistent Cadence and a Strong Finish! Hey there, feathered friend here! Greg, at 25, hit the ground running from Madison, Wisconsin. Throughout the 10K, his pacing was remarkably steady. Starting with an 8:28 min/mile, Greg found a rhythm around mile 2, quickening his split pace to 7:55. Overall, he logged an average pace of 8:02 min/mile. He landed 3rd in his M25-29 division, an impressive feat among his peers! Not to pink up your day too much, but can we talk about his finish? In the final mile, he zipped through at 7:29 min/mile! From flamingo-eye view, maintaining that late-race speed is fantastic. If there's a little advice from my perch, it could be to slightly stabilize pace near mile 4, where it was momentarily at 8:48 min/mile. Overall, Greg's performance in the 497-runner field was noteworthy. Keep those wings—err, legs—moving smoothly out there!
