Steady Feathers and Strong Finish Connor Koepnick demonstrated excellent pacing throughout the 2025 Run Madtown half marathon, clocking a consistent average pace of 6:04 min/mile over the 13.1-mile course. Particularly commendable were his efforts in maintaining a steady rhythm, with split times mostly in the low 6-minute range. The first mile was completed in 5:54, starting off strong, and he closed the first half with an admirable 6:10 mile at the 6-mile mark. Noteworthy is Connor's performance in his division, consistently battling at the top of the M25-29 category, consistently holding second place and even claiming the top spot in some miles. A strong finish was key, as he managed a split of 5:57 for the final mile, securing 9th place overall out of 1,195 participants. Slight fluctuations in pace between miles could be optimized for an even more competitive edge. Great job!
