Flamingo Fast: A Bright 10k Performance! Andrew Lowndes from Atlanta put on quite the spectacle at the 2025 Run Madtown 10K, impressively maintaining a bird’s eye view in the front! He clocked an overall time of 34:51, showcasing his swift stride at an average pace of 5:36 minutes per mile. He expertly opened his race with a 5:18 mile, improving to 5:14 in the second. By the third mile, the pace was 5:34, steadily holding third place. Andrew consistently held his position throughout, finishing 3rd overall among 497 participants. Slightly more aerodynamic pacing—perhaps as seen in the swift 5:14 second mile—could see even more feathered fireworks in future races. With split variations ranging slightly from 5:18 to 6:12, working on tighter pacing might enhance his already impressive performance. Quite the ruffled spectacle for a flamingo like me to behold!
