Strong Division Finish in Combo Challenge Daniel Galvan displayed impressive consistency and stamina in the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach 5K & Marathon Combo Challenge, securing a second-place finish in his M35-39 division. He completed the 29.3-mile race in 5:02:14, maintaining a solid pace of 10:18 per mile. Out of 62 total participants, he placed 24th overall and 17th among male competitors. His pacing was consistent with his marathon performance from the same year, where he delivered a pace of 10:36 per mile. In terms of pacing, Daniel's performance in the Combo Challenge shows improvement over his standalone marathon earlier in the year. He notably improved his division finish from 136th in the marathon to 2nd in the Combo Challenge. Concentrating on pacing during longer events could further enhance his performance. The experience gained from this race will undoubtedly contribute positively to his future racing endeavors.
