Impressive Division Win in 5K & 10K Combo Challenge Jon Busch, a 59-year-old runner from Goleta, CA, delivered a stellar performance in the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach 5K & 10K Combo Challenge. Completing the 9.3-mile event in 1:56:09, Jon maintained a pace of 12:29 minutes per mile. Notably, Jon achieved the first place finish in the M55-59 division out of a field of 42 participants, while also securing 6th overall in the male category. The event demonstrates marked progress compared to his previous 10K, where he ran a 12:57 pace. His improved pace shows a commendable development in stamina and speed.
