Spectacular Finish with a Winning Pace Fernando Covarrubias showcased impressive running skills at the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach event, clinching first place overall across several categories. Despite competing in a combo challenge, he maintained an impressive average pace of 6:44 minutes per mile over a distance of 16.2 miles, finishing with an elapsed time of 1:49:04. Fernando excelled not only by securing the top spot overall, but also in his gender and age division, demonstrating remarkable consistency and endurance. In previous races, Fernando ran the 2025 Beachfront 5K with a pace of 6:53 minutes per mile, showing a commendable improvement in pacing during the Mountains 2 Beach event. His past performance in the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Half Marathon displayed a similar aptitude for races, with a pace close to his current performance. Maintaining and slightly improving his pace, especially for longer distances, should remain a focus as he continues to excel in future challenges.
