Impressive Division Finish with Consistent Pace Strategy Dakota Oparka showed commendable performance at the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach event, successfully completing the 29.3-mile 5K & Marathon Combo Challenge with an elapsed time of 4:18:20. He maintained an impressive pace of 8:49 minutes per mile, which is consistent when compared to his previous marathon pace of 9:05 minutes per mile. Notably, Oparka secured 3rd place in the M30-34 division and finished as the 12th Male in a total participant pool of 62. Analyzing his previous races, it’s clear that Oparka has enhanced his distance performance since his 26.2-mile marathon, where he clocked in at 3:58:21. The incremental improvements in his pacing demonstrate his growing strength over longer distances.
