Impressive Division Win in 5K & Marathon Combo Rommel Felix, 53, from Santa Monica, CA, achieved an outstanding performance by securing the top placement in the M50-54 division at the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach 5K & Marathon Combo Challenge. Completing the 29.3-mile race with an elapsed time of 4:51:25, Rommel maintained a steady pace of 9:56 min/mile. Among 62 participants, he was 16th in the male category and claimed the 22nd position overall. This achievement marks a significant result in his running journey. Comparing his marathon performance with a previous marathon finish earlier in 2025, Rommel improved his pace by 10 seconds per mile, evidently enhancing his endurance over a longer, combined distance. His progress in the division from 49th to 1st place demonstrates a remarkable improvement.
