Impressive Finish in Combo Challenge Cindy Underwood demonstrated notable improvement in the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach 5K & 10K Combo Challenge. Completing the 9.3-mile distance in 1:24:30, Cindy achieved an impressive pace of 9:05 min/mile. Of particular note is her first-place finish in her F50-54 division. This performance placed her 4th among females and 6th overall out of 42 participants, a strong finish showing Cindy's consistent pace and endurance. Comparing her results to previous races, Cindy maintained a steady pace close to her past 10K at the same event, where she also led her division. Although her average pace increased slightly from the 10K earlier this year, being only a 5-second difference per mile is commendable over a longer distance. To enhance performance further, focusing on maintaining this momentum in subsequent races with consistent training could further solidify her standing in both her gender and overall rankings.
