Consistent Splits Showcase David's Strategy David Oropreza from Oxnard, CA, delivered a composed performance at the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Half Marathon. His consistent splits highlight a well-maintained pace throughout the race. Starting with a first mile at 9:58 min/mile, David gradually improved his pace, finishing with an average of 9:25 min/mile. His mile times steadily decreased after the second mile, with an impressive 8:43 min/mile at mile 4 and maintaining that momentum in subsequent splits. David's disciplined pacing placed him 619th overall out of 1,697 participants, with a gender placement of 347th amongst males. In his M35-39 division, he secured 56th place. Notable improvements were observed in the latter half, where he consistently maintained a sub-9:30 min/mile pace, showcasing endurance.
