Starting strong, he maintained a consistent average pace close to 5:34–5:38 min/mile in the first half of the race. His initial mile was clocked at a swift 5:28, setting a competitive tone. Alper displayed exceptional steadiness, as most split times hovered around 5:38 min/mile, solidifying his impressive pacing strategy. There was a slight drop in his pace during mile 13, recorded at 6:18 min/mile, which is a key area for potential progress. Nevertheless, Alper finished with a commendable overall time of 1:15:08, indicating effective pacing despite the minor slowdown.
