Steady Finish with a Strong Close in Half Marathon Will Porter, a 34-year-old from Los Angeles, delivered a consistent performance in the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Half Marathon. With a total time of 1:40:50 over the 13.1-mile course, Will maintained an average pace of 7:41 minutes per mile. Notably, his pacing consistency was observed in his splits, which ranged predominantly between 7:39 and 8:25 min/mile, with a significant push in the final split, clocking in at 6:48 min/mile. From the beginning, Will started strong, completing the first mile at 7:39. Despite a slower sixth mile at 10:18, his recovery was impressive, closing with incremental improvements and finishing strongly. Throughout the race, he maintained a steady position, finishing 165th overall, 123rd among males, and 21st in his division (M30-34). Focusing on maintaining pace through the middle sections could lead to even greater improvements in future races. Excellent job representing the MEP RACETEAM!
