Steady Progress with Decent Momentum Sebastian Bahr maintained a consistent effort throughout the 2025 Mountains 2 Beach Half Marathon, finishing with an overall time of 2:09:10 and an average pace of 9:51 min/mile. Sebastian showed strong initial splits; the first mile was his fastest, clocking in at 8:12 min/mile, placing him 288th overall. The pace remained steady in the first half, with subsequent mile splits in the 8-minute range until the halfway mark. Notably, Sebastian's performance was consistent within his age division of M25-29, hovering around the 40th position. As the race progressed, his splits extended into the 9 to 12-minute range, showcasing a gradual slow-down. The 10th and 11th miles indicated areas for potential focus, with splits of 10:58 and 12:22, respectively. Nonetheless, Sebastian represented the Jetlag Joggers team admirably, placing 57th in his division out of 62. Continued practice on pacing could enhance his future race outcomes.
