Consistent Improvement with a Strong Finish Mansa Johnson demonstrated a steady progression in his performance during the 2025 Vacation Races: Joshua Tree Half Marathon. Starting with a 9:05 min/mile pace in the first mile, his consistency and endurance were evident as he progressively improved his pace, peaking at an impressive 7:07 min/mile in the sixth mile. Throughout the race, he maintained a competitive position, advancing from 69th to 21st place overall by the end. Johnson's tactical race strategy paid dividends as he climbed the ranks, finishing in the top 2 for his age division (M50-54) and securing the 3rd place position in the M Masters division with an overall time of 1:44:03 and a strong average pace of 7:56 min/mile. For future races, Mansa may focus on sustaining his peak pace from mile 6 in the subsequent segments to further enhance his overall time and standing.
