Consistent Acceleration and a Strong Finish! Jocelyn Seaver demonstrated remarkable pacing strategy at the 2025 Vacation Races | Joshua Tree Half Marathon. By the final split, she secured a 9:46 min/mile pace, bringing her overall pace to an impressive 10:02 min/mile. Jocelyn's consistent acceleration allowed her to finish first in the F50-54 division. Her final time was 2:11:38, placing her 203rd overall out of 1,330 participants. Jocelyn moved up significantly in overall placement, starting from 413th to steadily advancing to 203rd, and making a notable leap in gender placement, finishing 48th in the female category. Focusing on maintaining her pace gain throughout the race seemed to be effective. Going forward, Jocelyn might explore sustaining her strong pacing even earlier for potential gains, but her results are commendable.
