Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Jamieson Nelvis delivered an impressive performance at the 2025 Vacation Races | Joshua Tree Half Marathon. With a finishing time of 1:33:50 and an average pace of 7:09 min/mile, Jamieson secured the top spot in his division (M20-24) out of all participants. Jamieson maintained strong placing throughout, finishing 8th overall out of 1330 participants and 7th among male competitors. A highlight of Jamieson's race was his consistent improvement in pace midway, significantly dropping his split times to as low as 6:16 min/mile and 6:31 min/mile between miles 5 and 9. The slight slowdown occurred in mile 11 with an 8:16 min/mile split but he quickly recovered, finishing strong with a 6:48 min/mile for the last mile. Maintaining focus on stamina through the middle of his races can further enhance Jamiesons finishing times. Overall, it was an excellent display of pacing and strategy.
