Remarkable Progress at Joshua Tree! Lila Hunt demonstrated significant improvement at the 2025 Joshua Tree Half Marathon, finishing with a time of 3:02:51 and an average pace of 13:57 min/mile. This represents an impressive enhancement from her previous time of 3:34:00. Lila finished 4th in her F65-69 division out of 6 competitors, placing her 807th overall out of 1,330 participants. Noteworthy splits included miles 5 and 8, where Lila clocked paces of 12:44 and 12:46 min/mile, her fastest segments. Although mile 9 was the slowest at 16:05 min/mile, Lila recovered to finish strong with a spirited 13:17 min/mile in mile 13. For future races, maintaining a more consistent pace might further benefit her performance, especially through the middle miles.
