Consistent Pace with a Strong Start Kevin Ringelstein maintained a remarkably consistent pace during the 2025 Vacation Races | Joshua Tree Half Marathon, finishing with an official time of 1:31:09 and an average pace of 6:57 min/mile. His performance was notable for starting strong and holding third position until midway before finishing fifth overall in a field of 1330 participants. The early segments were executed with precision, showing splits of 6:52 min/mile through the first two miles, and even quickening to a 6:46 min/mile pace by mile three. Kevin's most impressive mile was the sixth, clocking in at 6:19. As the race progressed, there was a slight increase in split times, peaking at 7:45 in mile eleven. Continued work on maintaining pace through the latter miles could result in even better outcomes in future races. Overall, Kevin demonstrated that he is competitive with a foundation of strength and consistency.
