Outstanding Division Performance with Steady Pacing! James Weber displayed a consistent and strategic pacing strategy throughout the 13.1-mile course. Starting strong with a first-mile split of 5:46 minutes, James maintained competitive pacing, averaging 6:36 minutes per mile. He consistently held the top spot in his age division (M40-49) at each check-point. Particularly notable were his efforts from mile 8 onward, where he maintained a swift split pace of 6:28 minutes per mile. Maintaining a steady overall pace contributed to James's successful completion of the half marathon in 1:26:36, securing him 11th place overall and 6th place among male participants. Among the 636 total participants, his consistent energy exertion and well-managed pace demonstrated his keen ability to hold form across the entire race distance. To aim for even higher overall standings, focusing on a slightly stronger pace through the middle segments could be beneficial in future races.
